1300cc/2Ltr Stock Cars Rules
All cars to be 1/12th scale and be a reasonable representation of a full size 1300cc Saloon Stox car.
Maximum width of car to be 178mm. Maximum length to be 356mm. Mimimum ground clearance of 3mm.
All running gear to be fitted to a one piece flat plate chassis.
Choice of chassis material is free; V12 chassis may be used.
Front and rear bumpers must be fitted to the flat plate chassis and must not project beyond maximum measurements as defined above.
All cars to have windows cut out.
The roof panel must be painted with the drivers classification colour.
Wheel wells must be cut out as per the full size car and when initially entered into a meeting the body shell must be neatly finished and complete.
Maximum cost of a ready to race car, (excluding radio equipment, batteries, motor, speed controller, and body shell) to be £85.
Any scratch built parts; chassis etc. must have a price at which they are available for other competitors.
Batteries to be sub C sized cells.
Maximum 4 cells to be used (At TURBO), rated @ 1.2 volts per cell.
Motors to be MARDAVE supplied 540SH only (G1 and G2).
External motor bearings are not allowed.
Motor end bell may not be pinned.
Limited slip devices and differentials are not allowed.
Solid rear axle only.
Mimimum 12mm and maximum 26mm width of front tryes.
Rear tyres, mimimum 12mm, maximum 38mm. Tyre diameter front and rear to be minimum 44mm and maximum 57mm. Tyre additives are not allowed.
Drivers name to be on the outside of the car and clearly visible.
Any type of speed controller may be used with a max. price of £60.
Reverse must be fitted and working at the start of each race.
Ball races allowed on rear axle only.
Bumper - external ones must be fitted front and rear, using a non-mettalic meterial.
To look like the "real thing" on the front, A grid appearance is recommended.
No unrealistic wings, aerofoils, spoiler or under body aids unless in the original car design or moulding.
No altering wheel base.
ABS shells only. Any shell on the spedeworth 1300 stockcar list can be used. you can also find this on our website.
Transponder bracket must be fitted inside the car, not connected to the roof.
No alloy parts are to be used.
The scrutineers must approve the changing of a motor during a race meeting.
RACING RULES
Heats to be 4 or 5 minutes in length. Finals to be 5 minute or more, as defined by race control.
Races will start in graded order, picked grid positions, or qualifying order, as defined by race control.
Any driver holding membership at more than one club shall race under their highest grade.
Racing will be in a clockwise direction around the oval.
NO Marshalling so if your car leave the track it stays off the track.
Drivers are responsible for the collection and fitting of the correct transponder in their car.
Any car losing a wheel during a race must be removed from the track.
Any repairs to vehicles must be affected off the track.
Contact is to be limited, nudge and spin only.
The waiting for cars, or turning around is forbidden.
Once a race has started the changing of cells is strictly forbidden.
Once a race is over, all cars must be removed IMMEDIATELY.
2 LITRE STOCK CARS
Shells to be sierra or mondeo only.
GRP, alloy or carbon fibre chassis are allowed, no schumacher.
only V12 oval parts must be used.
Alloy rear pods are allowed, and alloy wishbones.
No brushless motors / esc's systems allowed.
External fans / heatshrink are allowed.
Banger motors permitted, i.e G1, G2, mabuchi etc, 27 turn.
No fanned motors are allowed.
Bumpers are to be fitted onto the chassis, when shell is placed onto the chassis it looks like the bumpers are fitted to the shell.
Batteries 4,5 or 6 cell allowed.
Any decision will be at the scrutineers discretion.
