Super Drift Banger Rules
1/10 tub chassis drift car
Ipswich -Any banger (ABS) Drift shell- must have raced before in full scale racing
Brentwood- Granada shell only, any ABS Granada shell
Body to be mounted at 4 points
Any RCBWS banger motor allowed
Diff – both front and rear, may be locked
Belt and shaft driven cars ARE permitted
No Lipo’s or Brushless motors are permitted
Gearing choice is free
ESC max RRP £65
Steering servo choice is free
6 cell batteries, max permitted is 5000
Completely solid drift tyres only (Brentwood- treaded tyres also allowed, not at IORC) – no rubber at all
Camber, caster and toe is free choice
Alloy parts permitted
Front foam bumper permitted
No min or max weight limits
All rules are subject to change and all cars will be checked randomly and sporadically
Racing Rules
Limited contact only – nudge and spin
No straight lining or deliberate fencing(in any directions!) – if seen doing so you WILL lose your points for that race or even the end of your night…
Line up on the back straight
Rules are subject to change by club committees and will work together to ensure you have as little work possible to race at both clubs
